This beautiful fully glazed Sea Globe has an underglaze of oriental blue / turquoise glaze interrupted with a band of aventurine leading to deeper cobalt blue tones. During the final firing gold detailing has been added to the rim.
Fine bone china Sea Globes are handmade in my studio here on the Pembrokeshire coast. Their design stems from the Pembrokeshire coast where I live and work, capturing the essence of the dramatic landscape and ever changing scenery we experience here throughout the year.
