This stunning fine bone china Sea Globe has a deep combination of glazes and oxides that have been fused together at high temperature. A glossy black glaze cascades down the globe interacting with dabbled blue and aventurine tones. During the final firing the globe which has been finished with gold detailing on the rim.
Fine bone china Sea Globes are handmade in my studio here on the Pembrokeshire coast. Their design stems from the Pembrokeshire coast where I live and work, capturing the essence of the dramatic landscape and ever changing scenery we experience here throughout the year.
