This unique fine bone china Sea Globe has been inspired by the rock formations here on the Pembrokeshire coast. A beautiful reflective black gloss glaze falls from the rim finished with gold detailing, with the jet black tones being fused with copper rich aventurine and iron oxide markings cascading around the circumference of the globe.
Fine bone china Sea Globes are handmade in my studio here on the Pembrokeshire coast. Their design stems from the Pembrokeshire coast where I live and work, capturing the essence of the dramatic landscape and ever changing scenery we experience here throughout the year.
Please note this glaze, like most studio pottery glazes, will craze over time.
