Sculptural / Functional

This piece is finished with a bright green under-glaze with vertical lines of cobalt, green and blue glazing, with random dots of green interrupting the horizontal design. The globe has been finished with copper detailing on the rim.

Fine bone china Sea Globes are handmade in my studio here on the Pembrokeshire coast. Their design stems from the Pembrokeshire coast where I live and work, capturing the essence of the dramatic landscape and ever changing scenery we experience here throughout the year.
